How would you describe your photography style?

My style is documentary and journalistic — I observe and capture moments as they happen, without directing poses or staging scenes. Think of it as storytelling through genuine emotions, real interactions, and the in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours.

We're camera shy. How do you handle that?

Most of my couples say the same thing — and most of them forget I'm there within the first 20 minutes. I work quietly in the background, focus on keeping the conversation natural, and never ask you to pose unnaturally. By the time you see the photos, you'll be surprised how relaxed you look.

How far in advance should I book you?

Most couples book 6–12 months in advance, especially for popular Saturday dates. If your date is coming up soon, it's still worth reaching out — I occasionally have last-minute availability.

How long does it take to receive our photos after the wedding?

Typically within 2–4 weeks for pre-wedding shoots, and 4–6 weeks for actual day weddings. I don't believe in making couples wait months for their memories.

Do you travel for destination weddings and pre-weddings?

Yes — destination shoots are some of my favourite projects. I've shot in the UK, Indonesia, and across the region. Travel and accommodation costs are billed separately. Just reach out and we'll work out the details.

What are your wedding photography packages and rates?

Do you shoot both Chinese and Malay or Indian weddings?

Yes — I've covered Chinese, Christian, Malay, Indian, and interfaith weddings across Singapore and beyond. Each culture has its own beautiful rituals and I approach every wedding with equal care and curiosity.

What happens if you fall sick on our wedding day?

In the extremely unlikely event that I'm unable to shoot due to a medical emergency, I have a trusted network of fellow photographers I can call on. Your day will be covered — this has never happened in 14 years, but the contingency is in place.

HM & ZH met through mutual friends. Somewhere between conversations, it became something more. That very moment led to this fateful day.

The wedding was held at Capella Singapore – elegant, unhurried; as we snuck in a moment for their first look. Pastel blooms and blue florals filled the venue, surrounded by the people who matter most. You could feel how loved they are just by being in the room.

Then Synthesis Bar for the afterparty. It’s like walking into a TCM shop, until it reveals a bar full of character. The crowd showed me exactly how to party and end a night the right way.
